LIFE AT REDEMPTION HILL CHURCH
Real help for real needs.
Our church is rooted in the belief that faith in Jesus Christ has transformative power to restore us to God and each other. We invite you to experience the love of God and learn more about the message of the gospel by joining us at any of the events or programs listed below.
We begin at 10:00am and meet at the Gill Hall Volunteer Fire Company at 1228 Gill Hall Road in Jefferson Hills. All services are interpreted for the deaf in American Sign Language. We sing a mix of traditional hymns and new songs. The second Sunday of each month is our 'Family Service.' During these services we celebrate the Lord's Supper and share lunch together, afterwards. Kids are included in the whole service (except 0-4 years old can stay in the nursery). Whether you're a skeptic or a committed Christian, you are welcome to visit us on any given Sunday.
We have three life groups meeting this fall. These co-ed groups meet for the purpose of building community and growing spiritually. Two groups meet on Sundays at 4pm to discuss the sermon, one in Bethel Park, and one in Pleasant Hills. A third group will begin meeting January 17th and meet twice a month with childcare at the fire hall. This group will be studying the book "Gospel Growth: Becoming a Faith-Filled Person."
MOTHER-DAUGHTER "FROZEN" TEA
January 11, 10am-12pm
Mothers, daughters, and grammies, too, are invited to a lovely Mother-Daughter Tea Party, featuring special guest, Elsa, who will sing some of your daughter's favorite songs! Wear a fancy dress and make it a special morning with your daughter. Register here for free. Space is limited. This event is wheelchair/stroller accessible and we will offer American Sign Language Interpretation.
CARING FOR ADDICTS
January 26, 3-4pm (free)
This session is for anyone who carries the weight of loving and caring for someone struggling with drugs or alcohol. During this time, Justin will help you understand how addiction impacts every part of a person—physically, emotionally and spiritually. Admission is free.
Address: 1228 Gill Hall Road. Park in the back.
HIGH SCHOOL BIBLE STUDY
Monday night (1x mo.)
We welcome any interested high schoolers to join our monthly Bible study. It meets at 202 E Bruceton Road from 7-9pm on the first Monday of each month. This is a relatively new group for our church. To learn more email Ben Robel.
FATHER-SON FLAG FOOTBALL
Mid-to late April (Free)
Father and Sons (and Father-figures) are welcome to an afternoon of flag football. The day and time are still being arranged. The location is expected to be the Thomas Jefferson Football Stadium on Old Clairton Road. Opens to kids grades 2nd-7th with teams organized by age and skill.
Our vision is to see families renewed through the power of God's love, our local communities enriched, and men, women and children from every walk of life forgiven and united by faith in Jesus Christ.
Our mission is to make and mature disciples.
